We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester to join our Sanametrix team. Our analysts are responsible for supporting project managers and program offices with various project-related tasks. For this particular role, an ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting quality control and software testing services; providing expertise in the planning, construction and execution of test scripts; applying business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives; ensuring all testing results are easily accessible and understandable; and identifying and tracking defects to closure while keeping the defect repository up-to-date.

Candidates must have experience working within a team environment, possess analytical and problem resolution skills, and have clear and demonstrated success with solution implementation. Attention to detail and experience in a service driven environment are essential. Candidates must be able to successfully obtain a Public Trust.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with data collection tools and methodologies while working within a federal government contracting environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.
• Implement policies, procedures, and system controls.
• Provide quality assurance and testing support for software applications.
• Create and execute test scripts.
• Document issues and follow-up with stakeholders.
• Detect patterns of issues and coordinate with project and software teams regarding persistent problems.
• Research and develop solutions to newly identified and unresolved issues.
• Ensure all inquiries requiring follow-up work and/or calls are resolved.
• Offer guidance and help users solve common content related questions.
• Know when to redirect problems that require escalation.
• Assist project managers in troubleshooting difficult or time-sensitive problems.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficient in MS Office applications

• Outstanding written and verbal communications and pleasant disposition with users
• Experience in developing and adhering to standard operating procedures.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Task ownership and ability to follow-through to completion

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience working on federal contracts.
• Experience with issue tracking software (i.e., Jira).
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle process.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
