Regional Director of Business Development for Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing in the Dallas-Ft. Worth market.

*Only accepting applicants with 5 plus years of multi-site census development experience in Post-Acute Care.*

Define and drive Strategic Market and Business Development plans for their region to optimize admissions and census growth. Coordinate with team of Business Development Managers to evolve key account relationships in order to optimize our referral flow and gain competitive advantage.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct market analysis to understand the market landscape, competitor landscape and facilities position within each of their markets.
  • Facilitate Business Development Team in development of growth strategies within defined markets, including prioritization of key accounts and tactics for moving relationships forward.
  • Coordinate Business Development Team in driving execution of growth strategies.
  • Provide coaching and performance management to Account Managers. Establish and track key performance metrics to include referral growth and conversions.
  • Directly function as Account Manager for designated high level accounts, and engage company leaders to participate where appropriate.
  • Coordinate and assist facilities with resident referrals, inquiries and admissions.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position supervises a team of Business Development Managers. They are responsible for performance management, coaching, training and hiring of the employees within those teams.

Work Environment

This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses office equipment such as a computer, printer, fax and telephone.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and business days and hours are Mondays – Fridays. Longer hours, evenings and weekend work will be necessary occasionally.

Travel

This position requires up to 80% travel.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an operational or business development role within skilled nursing industry
  • Proven experience in a leadership position
