Job Description :

The Revenue Cycle Management team analyzes and summarizes revenue cycle and vendor data. Monitor trends and identify opportunites for process and procedure improvements.


1. Works with revenue cycle staff and leadership to prioritize business and information needs

2. Supports the entire revenue cycle division and various other departments with analytics needs, by producing reports and analysis ensuring a high level of accuary and timeliness

3. Achieves sufficient expertise with Epic and other applicable systems to facilitate reporting, analysis, and problem solving

4. Researches, analyzes, and makes recommendations for process improvements

5. Drives implementation of strategic changes to revenue cycle operational workflows and initiatives, including but not limited to, compiling and executing workplans, and reporting progress and results

6. Maintains up to date knowledge on vendor contracts to confirm vendor invoice accuracy and compliance to vendor management division-wide initiatives

7. Collaborates with team and other revenue cycle departments to improve denials and avoidable write-offs

8. Builds relationships with staff, leadership, and vendors through effective communication related to process improvement, performance standards, and accountability

9. Transfers knowledge and/or trains employees as needed

10. Participates in cross-functional workgroups and committees

11. Performs other duties as assigned


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Skills:


  • Must pass a basic skills test and scoring a minimum of 80%

  • Must have exemplary organizational skills

  • Must be PC proficient, especially in MS Excel


Experience:
1-3 years revenue cycle or similar work experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or other related field
Experience: 3+ years in revenue cycle or similar work experience

  • Must be proficient in data analysis

  • Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change quickly and think conceptually

  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Team mentality

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Impeccable attendance

  • Must be able to move about office and between workstations

  • Must be able to occasionally lift, move and carry up to 20lbs of materials
