PURPOSE

Be the primary point of contact for inbound gearbox rebuild services, as well as inbound gear manufacturing sales inquiries. Work closely with Sales and Gearbox Rebuild teams to provide administrative support for quote/order processing, pricing, parts purchasing, inventory management, and status reporting. Provide excellent service and develop strong working relationships with customers, external business partners (suppliers, vendors), and internal team.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide inside sales and customer service administrative support for customers, suppliers, and vendors, related to gearbox rebuilds and gear manufacturing
• Provide administrative support for quote/order processing, pricing, parts purchasing, inventory management, and status reporting
• Support customers, suppliers, and vendors via timely email and phone communications
• Promote a positive attitude to co-workers, customers, suppliers, and vendors, while promoting company services
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

• Experience in inside sales and/or customer service is required
• Experience working with gear manufacturing and/or machine shops is not required, but a plus
• Experience with manufacturing quoting process and systems is not required, but a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to customer questions and information
• Ability to learn basics of technical products and research technical sales information
• Strong PC and collaboration software skills with the ability to use business applications to improve efficiency and effectively communicate
• Ability to learn/use software tools such as JobBoss manufacturing ERP, SolidWorks CAD, and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED WORK HOURS

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week, onsite) based in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, with a flexible work schedule that can be four 10-hour days (Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-5:00pm) or four 9-hour days (Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-5:00pm) and a 4-hour day (Friday 8:00am-12:00pm). Hours may occasionally vary based on production scheduling and business needs.
