Product Manager Roles and Responsibilities

The Product Manager is the “CEO” of their products responsible for leading and managing products form ideation through delivery and throughout the product lifecycle. Detailed responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

Responsibilities:

· Assess market needs and requirements, industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure IDTECH products adhere to overall company strategy, competitive, desirable, and achieve revenue targets.

· Create the product’s strategic positioning in the company’s portfolio - upgraded features, pricing options and variant creations. Assess potential in the market – services, bundling, experiences, packaging, lifecycle revenue opportunities to reach the goal and attractivity in the space.

· Define product requirements by aggregating, prioritizing, and assessing the requirements of the customer, country, regulations and keeping it up to date.

· Build and own the business case for the product, working closely with sales on customer demand, operations on cost and engineering on development capabilities as well as projected timelines

· Drive revenue goals by ensuring cost requirements are met and margins are protected by securing sales price is competitive yet profitable for the company.

· Drive the product timeline working across time zone and across organization to meet key milestones, assess and escalate risks where timeline is jeopardized – ability to compose contingency plans to reduce risks.

· Oversee the design, development, and manufacturing in a timely manner and in accordance with the frozen specification, cost, and requirement – any deviations to be evaluated with key stakeholders.

· Collaborate with Marketing on key messages, collateral creation, budget and launch preparations and readiness.

Skills Required:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· At least 5 years of product management work experience in a technology development environment.

· Strong technically skills with experience in hardware and software development.

· Strong organizational, planning and presentation skills.

· Analytical and creative skills and the ability to balance both.

· Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to work in a challenging environment.

· Excellent communicate skills.

· Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong business acumen with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.

· Process driven – understand existing process and drive new ones to improve the PM process.

· Ability work effectively across different cultures.

· Self-driven, Self-learner, pro-active and quick to adapt to new environment.
