Job Title: Strategy Analysis Intern

Introduction:

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions (TGCS) is seeking a Strategy Intern to join the Strategy and Business Development team. This role is open to undergraduate students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, majoring in business or marketing. The intern will support the research and evaluation of potential retail technology market opportunities and deliver findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders through presentations and reports. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of undergraduate study in business and/or marketing, a passion for learning and research, and an interest in pursuing a career in corporate strategy.

Areas of Expertise & Special Skills:

• Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing
• Familiarity in conducting market research and analysis and delivering the findings via presentations and/or reports
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities:

• Gather and synthesize relevant data, lead analyses, and present final recommendations on a strategic initiative(s) project.
• Translate data and analysis into visual and comprehensible reports and presentations.
• Develop and communicate ideas, approaches, and solutions to strategic business questions.
• Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by collaborating across the organization to support cross-company strategy efforts
