Five Below Summer Internship Program is ON! Our limited open positions for Summer 2022 focus on company strategic initiatives in the exciting environment of value driven, fun-focused retail. We are seeking energetic, responsible go-getters with innovative ideas, ready to actively participate in company initiatives.

We LOVE our interns! Our internship is curated to deliver a rich learning experience for both personal and professional growth. Our program is hands on, participating in meaningful work that directly effects the company’s success. You are an active contributor and valued as a part of your team!

The Summer Communications Intern will play a valuable role in supporting communications and engagement strategy for crew members across WowTown, ShipCenters and Stores. They will gain experience creating content for a variety of formats and audiences and build proficiency using enterprise communication platforms. They’ll work cross-functionally to design engaging content that reinforces our company culture and supports the crew experience.

Location:

In conjunction with WoWToWN’s current Ways of Working in a world that looks a bit different, we intend to offer a hybrid program for our interns, ensuring both a flexible and immersive experience. Understand that some roles may require on sight participation due to the nature of the role, such as ShipCenters.

Internship Details:

• 10 weeks: June 5 th – August 11 th
• Full time – 40 hours/wk
• Paid – $15/hr
• WoWToWN based roles: Greater Philadelphia location – on site/office requirements vary by internship position but should be generally considered hybrid.
• ShipCenter based roles: Areas surrounding each location, on site program
• Hands on, results driven projects. No coffee fetching here!
• Strategic Project focused, coupled with day-to-day responsibilities

Requirements:

• Must be actively enrolled as a Sophomore – Senior in a relevant Bachelor’s program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products & remote meeting software
• Must have availability for the full 10-week program as space is limited
• Must be a self-starter, highly passionate & detail oriented
• Active ability to problem solve & communicate effectively
