Summer 2023 Internship Snapshot

• The Internship program is a full-time (40 hours) opportunity running from May 24th thru August 16th
• In addition to your projects and tasks, New Era Interns will experience:

The Opportunity at Hand

The Global Sourcing Intern will work with the Sourcing & Production team within Supply Chain. They will work on projects that will allow them to gain real world knowledge of the sourcing function within a global company.

Projects & Tasks

• Yield analysis – Collect and review data. Propose potential project scope and savings. Adjust PLM to automatically pull yield by vendor and fabric
• Indirect consumable cost analysis - Collect and review data. Propose potential project scope and savings
• SMS Impact analysis, Collect and review data. Propose potential for cost savings and improved workflow
• Support the Sourcing and development of a Seasonal and or On Field programs
• Support the Sourcing and development of Raw Materials used on Seasonal and or On Field programs

What you will need to make an impact

• Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize new systems as needed
• Meticulous attention to detail and organization
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to establish relationships and interact with various levels within the organization
• Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally via phone, email and in person
• Strong public speaking, group presentation, interpersonal and persuasion skills required
• Ability to respond quickly to changing circumstances by being flexible and execute accordingly
• Ability to innovate and enhance existing solutions
• Enthusiastic, pro-active, and positive person who manages change with urgency and persistence
