We are looking for a knowledgeable, experienced shift supervisor to coordinate operations and oversee employees. As the liaison between employees and managers, the supervisor will be the key person in charge of overseeing the various projects with a keen awareness of efficiency, safety, tracking, and maintenance. The ideal applicant will have a solid supervisor background, strong leadership skills, pay close attention to details, can direct the work of others, and make quick decisions. They must be well organized and have a constant focus on safety.

Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

· Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations

· Accomplishes department objectives by supervising staff and organizing and monitoring work processes

· Produce and manage work schedules in accordance with the availability of employees, materials, and workloads

· Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, adjusting as necessary due to weather, supply delivery, and personnel.

· Ability to delegate responsibilities and projects to the crew and office personnel

· Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training employees and developing personal growth opportunities.

· Emphasis on the safe use of tools, machinery and equipment including training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures.

· Develop and oversee quality standards

· Implements and enforces systems, policies, and procedures.

· Maintain and report inventory

· Resolve conflicts or miscommunication that may happen on-site quickly and amicably

· Report project status to management and/or office personnel regularly

· Plans, monitors and appraises job results

· Maintain a professional demeanor

Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

· 4+ years’ experience in a supervisor/management role

· Excellent organizational, leadership and time management skills

· Ability to communicate and report effectively

· Aptitude in math and strong problem-solving abilities

· Good physical condition and stamina

· Quality management

· Fluency in English; Spanish a plus

A typical work schedule is M-F from 8 am to 4:30 pm with overtime opportunities as needed. Pay will be dependent on experience.
