Defiant Technologies, Inc. has an opening for a technical sales associate. This person will have a primary responsibility of selling our chromatography products.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for making sales calls, through web media, telephone and in person demonstration to targeting environmental monitoring and industrial hygiene customers.
• Identify potential sales from distributors and assist in closing sales with distributors.
• Maintain relationship with distributors in order to forecast sales from distribution channels.
• Maintain the sales forecast database in order to inform production of potential future orders.
• Provide timely communication to customers and distributors on product offerings, price changes, rate changes and plan designs.
• Strong focus on new customer identification and development.
• Ability to learn and demonstrate expertise of chemical and mechanical properties of Defiant's products.

• Ability to learn and use a scripted methodology that’s proven to work.
• Maintain proper channels of communication with management.
• Maintain high energy and a positive attitude.
• No degree required – ability to learn technical characteristics and performance of products is required.
• Strong Time management skills.
• High degree of initiative, mature judgment, and self-motivation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization.
• Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to keep confidential information secured.
• Must be willing and able to travel.
• Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
• Problem solving skills.

Desired:

• Bachelor's Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience.
• 2+ years of Sales experience of complex equipment or specialized services
• Ability to cross train to perform laboratory calibration and repair of products.
• Multiple languages are a plus.
