Technical Sales Associate

We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Associate for our Canonsburg, PA office.

NBS Scientific is located just south of Pittsburgh in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. NBS Scientific has over 15 years of experience in providing high quality and innovative products to the life science research market and is experiencing high growth above the market average. As a growing top provider of services and products in the life science research market, NBS Scientific sets a fast pace in order to keep with demands from a large customer base in universities, research hospitals, government accounts, biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical companies, diagnostic companies, industrial companies, and biorepositories.

Responsibilities:

• Grow existing customer business within designated market segment in life science research industry
• Make daily e-mails and phone calls to existing and new customers
• Prospect to find new opportunities within market segment
• Add sales opportunities and updates to CRM database daily
• Develop strong relationships with key customers
• Participate in trade shows
• Perform additional tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Biology or other related field
• 1-3 years of experience in sales (preferred)
• Knowledge of life science industry (preferred)
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM databases
• Ability to travel up to 30%

Salary: $38,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
