Veracity Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Verification & Validation Test Engineer to join our engineering programing support of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. The specialist will provide authoritative leadership and technical advice to other members of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates highly technical and managerial expertise, fully knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of NAS programs, system, and related functional areas.
• Applicable functional areas include experience in air traffic and flight operations data analysis, pilot and air traffic controller information processing, systems engineering, network engineering, business process reengineering to include: data modeling, software design, and programming; specialty engineering (e.g., communications, systems safety, quality assurance, test and evaluation, etc.); human factors, risks and mitigation strategies, reliability and maintainability, systems security, acquisition management, organizational planning, financial management, acquisition logistics, and program management.
• Provides consulting and advisory services to project teams, operations and engineering teams to ensure data solutions are aligned with the business direction, to determine data requirements and to provide advice as well as directly assist in the analysis, design, and implementation of initiatives and projects.
• Manages large complex systems, acquisition projects for major functional areas. Plans, develops and supports programs/projects.
• Establishes objectives and requirements.
• Adapts and applies applicable technical, administrative, financial and business processes and procedures.
• Develops program/project Budgets, standards and schedules.
• Directly participates and coordinates with the internal and external subject matter experts on all matters pertinent to the successful implementation of the program or functional area.
• Employs a high degree of creativity, foresight and mature judgment to plan, organize and guide complex programs for which approaches and precedents may be unclear or nonexistent.
• Performs all relative duties as assigned.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or;
• Master's degree in engineering

Salary is based on experience and education ($73,500 - $90,500)

• Ability to pass an FAA background investigation which requires Permanent Residency or US Citizenship.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the U.S. For U.S. employment opportunities, Veracity hires U.S. citizens, permanent residents, asylees, refugees, and temporary residents. Temporary residence does not include those with non-immigrant work authorization (F, J, H, or L visas), such as students in practical training status. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on the shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Veracity will require proof of work authorization.
