Doron Precision Systems, Inc. is a world leader in driving simulation systems and now has an opening for a full-time hybrid position which includes duties as a travelinig Field Service Technician and In-House Quality Technician. The traveling Field Service is 50-60% of the job and the In-House Quality Control Technician is 40-50% of the job.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years technical training.
• 1-2 years previous work experience in a technical setting.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a reliable vehicle.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must be willing to extensively travel in the US
• Quality Control Inspection Experience.
• Experience with repair and setting up of printed circuit boards.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

For the Field Service Technician Part of the Job:

• Travels by flying or driving extensively our customer locations. You will be out of town 50% to 60% of the time.
• Responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs of Company products.
• Oversees and maintains necessary procurement of parts/spares needed for repairs.
• Instructs customer personnel of product operation and provides support to training personnel.
• Analyzes product malfunctions and performs necessary repairs.
• Attends trade shows and product demonstrations to assist in the set-up, tear down and to provide operational and technical support with Company products as requested.
• Responsible for the preparation and submission of all necessary reports in a timely manner including expense reports, service reports, customer acceptance reports and other documentation as required.

For the Quality Control Technician Portion of the Job (40$ to 50% In-House)

• Inspects Company products prior to shipment to ensure that specifications, quality and performance criteria are met.
• Sets up, loads and tests computers used on Company products.
• Responsible for setting up, testing, adjusting and repair of printed circuit boards.
