Job Summary

As a UX/UI Designer you will work closely with business users and O365/Power Platform developers on designing business applications and workflows. You’ll provide use cases, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that lead to intuitive UX/UI design across devices and platforms.

You will help create design visions that drive deeper user engagement while maintaining awareness of critical business goals. You’ll use the full spectrum of design skills: user research, information architecture, prototyping, ideation, interaction design, and visual design, to create compelling experiences for our customers. This role will require excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to achieve agreement with partners and stakeholders.

Portfolio/demonstration of your skills is required for this position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and build wireframes, page description diagrams, user flows, and other representations of UX thinking and decision-making.
• Define information architectures through sitemaps, taxonomies, content modeling, and other methods of defining key content types and relationships.
• Lead effective workshops, presentations, and interviews with clients where you can balance both listening and having a strong voice in defining solutions.
• Plan and conduct both primary and secondary user research such as interviews, surveys, and user testing.
• Work with project leadership to create and communicate project plans for UX activities that account for project constraints and client preferences.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of UX/UI experience covering web, desktop, and mobile design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative problem solving, complexity/ambiguity wrangling, and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate user needs and demonstrate how proposed designs solve those needs to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Skilled and efficient at creating sketches, wireframes, high fidelity comps, prototypes, and written documentation.
• A proven ability to cultivate teamwork, cooperation, and build partnerships across product teams and organizations.
• Proven ability to design enterprise-level software with a great user flow and experience that is still visually compelling, with fluency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or other relevant UX/UI design tools
• Improve customer experience and drive core metrics. Continuously learns new industry standards, staying up to date with how to get the most out of modern design tools, including Figma.
