Schedule: 6 AM – 6 PM or 6 PM – 6 AM, 3 shifts one week & 4 shifts the next

Pay: $22 - $28/hour depending on job duties/experience

Position Summary: The Warehouse Inventory Specialist is responsible for the physical verification of inbound shipments and related data entry for receiving. Track inventory, maintain accurate records, package, and weigh items, inspect goods received for damage, and distribute products to other departments.

Day to Day Overview:

• Communicate with delivery drivers, production, and various department managers regarding the shipment, delivery, and organization of inventory materials
• Receive, verify, inspect, and process incoming shipments
• Operator forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts to move products and raw materials
• Data entry to maintain accurate counts on both written and electronic records
• Participate in the physical verification of inventory when discrepancies are present
• Inventory control checking expiration dates and cycle counts
• Forklift operation and basic maintenance
• Attention to detail while staying in compliance with safety and storage regulations for hazardous and non-hazardous materials

Background Ideals:

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Prior shipping/receiving/inventory experience
• Math skills needed for accurate tracking
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills/data entry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well independently and with others at all levels of the organization
• Detail-orientated and takes pride in accuracy
