Regional Manager West

The Regional Manager West is responsible for Trade Marketing planning and execution across channels for Tajín Brand in the West Region (CA, OR, WA, NV, UT, AZ, and CO). This person leads the efforts between Tajin’s Trade Marketing & Merchandising teams and Mexilink’s sales team within the region to ensure achievement of sales budget, implementation of Trade Marketing plans and campaigns, seek business opportunities, expansion into new markets and ethnic groups.

I. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Elaborates Annual Trade Marketing Planner based on brand strategies, including new products, seasonalities, special events, sales promotions, sales contests, POP material and displays, ensuring correct implementation.
  • Collaborates for the ideation, developing, planning & budgeting, and implementation of all Trade Marketing efforts
  • Annual development of Trade Marketing Plan along with Mexilink’s Regional Director and ensures it is communicated and accomplished in accordance with budget and timeline.
  • Develops Business Reviews presentations with commercial partners.
  • Support Mexilink’s sales team in developing and managing their plans for the regional key accounts (Superior, El Super, Vallarta, Cárdenas, Superior Grocers, Bashas, Bristol Farms, Smart & Final, Vons, Northgate among others).
  • Coordinates brand plans such as in-store activities, demo plans, point of sales materials (including racks and bins) and training materials.
  • Develops presentations of new item launch, regional overviews, and training materials.

II. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES (K, S, A)

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or comparable is needed.
  • Minimum 5 year of Trade Marketing / Sales Management and/or brand management experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Industry is needed.
  • Former experience in sales is recommended or in a position that closely worked with sales teams in their planning and daily activities.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
  • Verbal, reading and analyzing proficiency: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data, professional journals, technical procedures related with the nature of this position, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and commercial partners in a professional and convincing way. Bilingual capabilities speaking, writing, and reading in both, English and Spanish.

· Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

· Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, the individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 per year
