The Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) is a very responsible position that has a large impact on company operations performance. The AOM is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of one or more areas of the business. The AOM is also responsible for providing operational support to the department manager and for implementing operational initiatives. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of the manufacturing facility.
• Oversee daily production.
• Manage procurement of raw materials for production.
• Oversee: shipping and receiving, facility maintenance, facility upgrades, quality assurance, operations performance
• Negotiate purchases for the facilities
• Provide valuable input during meetings
• Operation of all heavy and light equipment i.e. forklifts, wheel loaders, excavators, etc.
• Involvement in operations expenses and reporting
• Involvement in daily operations of production employees including performance and attendance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
