AtCitizens Connected, you will be a key member of the CEO’s team, responsible for executing accounting activities, preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets, and ensuring compliance various regulatory agencies. Specifically:

• Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide the business. Scrutinize financial statements to pinpoint potential improvement areas.
• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account reconciliations by compiling and analyzing account information and prepare journal entries.
• Oversee all financial transactions and manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activity.
• Prepare forecasts and monthly financial statements to include preparation of monthly balance sheet, income statement, reports on changes in financial position/budget variances.
• Ensure timely regulatory reporting and broadband grant submissions.
• Monitor product and service performance to drive better business and investment decisions.
• Work closely with our accounting package vendor to optimize performance, manage system upgrades and enhancements, and keep staff informed of changes.
• Hone a culture of teamwork, performance and service excellence.

Remote, hybrid, and in-office presence will be considered.

The ideal candidates possess strong accounting expertise, proficiency with various accounting packages and the vision to see opportunities, anticipate problems, and identify solutions governed by your impeccable integrity. A CPA designation and sense of humor couldn’t hurt.
