Description:

TLC of Duluth supports individuals with disabilities who live independently in our community. Join an amazing team of people who are passionate about making a difference in peoples' lives! TLC's Homemaker (essentially a housekeeping position) team members work in the community helping those who are struggling be able to enjoy the gift of a clean, well-maintained home. To be successful in this position, you must be attentive to detail, reliable, hard-working, responsive and compassionate. Cleaning duties would include vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, washing & folding laundry, decluttering and other tasks that make for an ordered home. Applicants, may also be included in job coaching shifts and shifts for community supports building independent living skills.

Requirements:

• Afternoon/Evening availability and at least one weekend day
• Driver's license
• Ability to pass MVR check
• Ability to pass the DHS NetStudy 2.0 background check
• Ability to work both independently, yet warmly receive direction. The successful applicant must be able to make independent decisions based upon standard policies and procedures, as well as use personal judgment in-step with TLC's core values in day-to-day activities.
• HS Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred:

• (1) year cleaning experience
