Krohmer Plumbing, Inc. is a family-owned company founded in 1984. We have approximately 135 employees, and are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team.

Summary: The Human Resources Generalist / Recruiter is responsible for activities related to the company’s personnel.

Essential Job Functions:

• Represent Krohmer Plumbing in a professional manner
• Assist in creating a company culture that creates job satisfaction
• Manage the staffing process, including advertisements, recruiting, interviews, hiring, and onboarding
• Attend job fairs and other hiring events
• Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Design and implement an employee review system
• Develop performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to employees
• Conduct performance reviews
• Design and implement employee retention strategies
• Assist management in compensation strategy for employees based on market research and pay surveys
• Participate in the development and implementation of employee training initiatives
• Investigate employee issues and conflicts, and bring them to resolution
• Manage benefit administration
• Enhance employee engagement by resolving issues promptly, identifying new benefits, and organizing team building activities
• Ensure the company’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Other duties assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in human resources
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Human resource certification preferred
• Fluent with Microsoft Office applications
