Marketing Intern – Summer 2023

Gerard Daniel, a large supplier of wire mesh, filtration and separation solutions in North America, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to assist with various B2B Marketing projects over the summer period.

The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, enthusiastic and willing to help out with many different marketing projects from creating flyers, digital marketing – web and social media, conducting on-line research and many others. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain experience in a broad range of marketing activities in the industrial manufacturing B2B field.

Job Duties

- Assist Sales team with prospecting accounts, using Zoom info to identify target accounts and contacts

- Assist with integrity and searchability of the Gerard Daniel website

- Assist with Data Management

- Assist with trade show management tasks

- Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Marketing, Business or similar Degree – Junior/Senior
• 3.2 GPA or higher, cumulatively

Skills and Experience

- Natural aptitude to work with technical and manufactured products

- Ability to work in a team-based environment, across functions

- Initiative to meet project milestones and deadlines

- Self-motivated/ability to work independently

- Proficiency with Microsoft office suite - Word, Powerpoint and Excel (High proficiency for Excel - you will be tested in proficiency)

- Basic proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets)

This position has up to 30 hours a week available. You will have the opportunity to determine your own schedule within the work week to fit around your studies. Most of this time you will be expected to be in the office.

Pay: $16.50 per hour
