Our focus is providing each customer with the best moving experience. The position requires excellent leadership & communication skills as well as knowledge of material controls, vehicle maintenance safety and compliance. Account management and employee training are essential responsibilities for this role.

Leading the Operations branch includes:

· Planning, scheduling, dispatching and monitoring quality assurance throughout the move process

· Manage the warehouse team to maintain quality, consistency, and exceed customer expectations

· Hiring the right crew members and training them effectively

· Safety, compliance, & DOT/FMSCA regulations

· Working with sales team to meet demands

· Maintaining a high rating on Google & Facebook

· Help create and adhere to monthly budgets

· Fleet management including managing company fleet vehicles and managing rentals as needed

· Maintain inventory of materials and equipment

· Resolve staff or customer issues

· Maintain detailed and accurate records, including payroll for movers

· Being thoughtful, fun-loving, & heroic to our customers, team members, and vendors

Requirements

· 3+ years of experience leading others with proven results

· Knowledge and experience in the moving and storage industry a plus

· Effectively communicate with sales, customer service, warehousing and clients as required

· Prepare/Complete various paperwork

· Already possess or ability to become DOT certified

· Proficient in forklift and pallet jack operations

· Willing to participate in our pre-employment background and drug screening process

· Logistics background and experience a plus

· Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced busy environment and be a multitasker

· Control expenses and adhere to budgets

· Upbeat demeanor, inspirational and lead by example, be a hands-on approach and a key contributor

· Strong understanding and comfort using computers, technology, MS Office, and computer programs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
