Management responsibility of executing a project through the project life cycle while maintaining all cost budgets.

  • Champion of project safety. Maintain a safe and secure work environment through timely safety meetings, documentation of monthly safety walks of each active project, incident investigations and employee involvement.
  • Identifies required resources to achieve project goals and work with company leadership to ensure needs are met.
  • Generates preliminary assessments, technical solutions, fee proposals, presentations, studies, and universal support.
  • Transitions project management and engineering activities from design to construction phase and construction to completion phase.
  • Communicates professionally and effectively with the General Contractor, Architect, Engineer, Owner, and other stakeholders.
  • Supports and provides input to development strategies, goals, and objectives specific to project execution at each project phase.
  • Assists the business development team in responding to requests for proposal and bid process.
  • Ensures safety compliance of subcontractors and all on-site personnel.
  • Drives cash flow by establishing front loaded schedule of values in accordance with the project schedule, timely & accurate billing, collection of payment and cash management of subs
  • Responsible for obtaining and coordinating appropriate lien waivers, state notifications and tax documentation as required.
  • Complete all required project closeout documents.
  • Coordinate all startup, commissioning, turnover, closeout, and warranty activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.

Project Controls

  • Monitor, meet, or exceed all financial budgets.
  • Assumes all monetary responsibility for projects including accurate, timely, and relevant reporting to stakeholders.
  • Facilitates invoice payments from clients and to subcontractors.
  • Reviews and approves subcontractor billing.
  • Identify change conditions, maintain change proposal log, and estimate and sell all change proposals.
  • Monitors, controls, and reports on the financial performance of projects.
  • Documents and resolves subcontractor and vendor billing issues.
  • Drafts subcontracts and purchase agreements.
  • Prepares and supervises the preparation of Submittals, RFI’s, Equipment Matrix, Operation & Maintenance Manuals, Expediting Reports, Change Order Log, RFI log, Correspondence Log, etc.
  • Assesses any potential job cost impacts, submits, negotiates, and tracks all change orders requests.
  • Prepares and supervises the preparation of systems startup, balancing, commissioning, turn over, and Project Closeout materials.
  • Reviews contracts, drawings, specifications, and other resources to answer questions in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that all material and equipment is purchased in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Evaluates bid estimates, develops cost codes, establishes definitive budgets, and monitors field labor progress.
  • Drive cash flow on all projects ensuring all projects are properly front loaded and billings are timely, accurate and complete. Leverage relationships with customers to ensure timely collections
  • • Monitors progress towards goals to anticipate potential problems.
  • • Delivers accurate and timely data to support project forecasts.

Team Management

  • Coaches and mentors project team members.
  • Ensure the training and development of all project team members, for both project and processes.
  • Establishes and leads associated meetings.
  • Defines individual project responsibilities and accountabilities.
  • Maintain company culture and core values.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
