What You’ll Receive:

• Pay: $20.90 - $26.40/ hr (Depending on experience)
• Type: Contract to Hire
• Shift: SWING (5 days/8hr) 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Location: Tualatin, Oregon
• Medical/Dental/Vision
• Paid Weekly (every Friday)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform all work in a safe manner. Promptly report safety issues and any unsafe behavior of others to management.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections utilizing precision measurement instruments and surface plate as required
• Perform and document first article inspections
• Work with Manufacturing and Engineering departments to develop and improve inspection techniques
• Participate actively throughout the entire new product /process development phase
• Provide input for new equipment, tooling, and fixture procurement
• Develop inspection and test procedures as required
• Actively participate in employee training and development
• May perform internal audits of the quality system
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
• Understand the urgency of our industry and be willing to work overtime
• Complies with company policies and procedures
• Train production personnel and lower level inspectors on quality techniques and policies as applicable.
• Other duties as directed by management

What You’ll Need to Have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years in an inspection role, or equivalent experience
• At least 2-3 years with CMM programming and operating
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience using precision measurement tools
• Good computer skills and experience with MS office products
• Basic SPC knowledge
• Experience in a high purity plastic manufacturing environment a plus
• Experience operating a CMM with PF-DMIS a plus
• Familiarity with sampling plan techniques
• Passing a Drug test (THC included) and Background check
